Hubbell Premise Wiring Presents Industrial RE-BOX® Enclosure with Cooling

Shelton, Conn. – May 11, 2016 – Hubbell Premise Wiring is excited to announce its new Industrial RE-BOX Enclosure with integrated cooling.

Allowing for deployment of network equipment outside the data center, the Industrial RE-BOX Enclosure’s built-in cooling maintains appropriate temperature levels for safe, optimal equipment operation. Its active closed-loop cooling system protects against equipment failure, safety hazards, and high operating costs due to excessive heat generation.

With a keyed locking door, which compresses the gasket, the Industrial RE-BOX Enclosure is ideal for outside plant applications. A lifetime weather rating offers weatherproof protection for network switches, Power over Ethernet devices (such as security cameras, access control systems, and wireless access points), and equipment deployed outside facility walls.

The enclosure’s heavy-duty steel construction withstands any outdoor condition, from rain and snow to wind and flying debris. A gray baked powder-coat finish resists chipping, fading, scratching, and burning.

The enclosure’s top-mounted patch panel allows for efficient cable access and fast, convenient installation.

“Industrial components are sensitive to the effects of weather and high temperatures,” says Rick Merrell, senior product manager for Hubbell Premise Wiring. “Hubbell’s Industrial RE-BOX Enclosure with Cooling protects against the elements and maintains uptime by removing heat to keep equipment operating at safe temperatures.”

Hubbell’s new Industrial RE-BOX Enclosure with Cooling is built to last in tough environments, such as parking garages, rooftops, and any outdoor application. It can also be used in fiber interconnects, security applications, and campus environments.
